Configuration Files for Spanning Tree on SWP1 Series

(January 12, 2016)
====================================================

As of SWP1 firmware Rev 2.01.02, Spanning Tree protocol (STP/RSTP/MSTP) for network redundancy is supported but cannot be recalled from the VLAN Presets. In order to accelerate the programming, these configuration files are provided as variations of the VLAN Presets, with MSTP enabled.

Alternatively, the same settings can be made by first recalling a VLAN Preset (Normal/A/B) in Dante Config mode, then export the Config file, reboot the SWP1 in User Config mode, and import the Config file. Finally, disable a channel group for Link Aggregation by using the command "no channel-group". For details on the command, please refer to the Command Reference document.

Configuration Files
--------

The following six configuration files are provided, in which Link Aggregation (LACP) is disabled and Spanning Tree (MSTP) is activated on the corresponding ports, while maintaining the other settings of each VLAN Preset.

"for SWP1-8" folder (configuration files for SWP1-8 and SWP1-8MMF)
  - default-config-normal-SWP1-8.txt (Preset NORMAL with Spanning Tree on ports 9 and 10)
  - default-config-type_a-SWP1-8.txt  (Preset A with Spanning Tree on ports 9 and 10)
  - default-config-type_b-SWP1-8.txt  (Preset B with Spanning Tree on ports 7 to 10)

"for SWP1-16" folder (configuration files for SWP1-16MMF)
  - default-config-normal-SWP1-16.txt (Preset NORMAL with Spanning Tree on ports 17 and 18)
  - default-config-type_a-SWP1-16.txt (Preset A with Spanning Tree on ports 17 and 18)
  - default-config-type_b-SWP1-16.txt (Preset B with Spanning Tree on ports 15 to 18)
